Bank Asia Ltd distributed 'Higher Studies Scholarships-2007' among poor and meritorious students of Tarail Upazilla in Kishoreganj at a programme on its Tarail branch premises Saturday.
President and Managing Director (MD) of the bank Syed Anisul Huq presided over the function, while Tarail UNO AFM Hayatullah was present as the chief guest.
A total of eight students of the upazila were given scholarships for higher studies in different universities.
