Bank Asia donates Tk 10,000 each for road mishap victims

Bank Asia has given Tk 10,000 each to the 14 families of the victims, who had been killed in a road accident at Tarail in Kishoreganj last month, said a press release.
Local MP Md Mojibul Haque Chunnu handed over the cheques to the members of the victim families at Tarail Branch of the bank Friday.
Also present at the function were Tarail Upazila Chairman Israt Uddin Ahmad, and Bank Asia First Assistant Vice-president Md Anisur Rahman and Manager of the branch AKM Aminul Huq.
Fourteen people were killed and at least 20 others were injured in a tragic mishap on the Mymensingh-Tarail road on December 29, 2009.
On information, employees of the bank rushed to the spot, arranged treatment of the injured and extended instant support to the victim families.
