Bank Asia gives scholarship to talented students

Bank Asia Limited provided higher studies scholarships to 17 meritorious students of Tarail Upazila of Kishoreganj district recently as a part of its corporate social responsibility, said a press release.
Bank Asia President and Managing Director Syed Anisul Huq handed over the scholarship money to the students.
Tarail Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Yousof Ali was present as the special guest in the function.
A large number of people including students, teachers, journalists, businessmen and local elite attended the function.
Bank Asia gives scholarships for higher studies to the meritorious students in the rural areas, where the bank has branches.
A total of 50 students have been selected for the bank's higher studies scholarships for the current year.
