A day-long workshop on 'Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating
Financing on Terrorism (CFT)' organised by Bank Asia Limited was held at Munshiganj Zilla Parishad auditorium recently, said a press release.
President and Managing Director of the bank Erfanuddin Ahmed inaugurated the programme as the chief guest, while Bangladesh Bank General Manager (AML Department) M Mahfuzur Rahman was present as the special guest and resource person.
Also present at the workshop were BB Assistant Director and its certified AML specialist Md Masud Rana and BB Assistant Director Farzana Akhter.
A total of 50 executives and officials from 15 schedule and commercial banks operating in Munshiganj district took part in the workshop.
