Bank Asia launches Islamic banking

Bank Asia has introduced Islamic banking to meet the growing needs of the customers for Shariah-based banking, says a press release.
Bank Asia Chairman Anisur Rahman Sinha launched the Islamic banking service at the bank's Uttara branch in the city Wednesday.
Vice Chairman Anwarul Amin, Director AM Nurul Islam, President-cum-Managing Director Syed Anisul Huq, Consultant on Islamic banking M Azizul Huq and senior executives of the bank were present on the occasion.
Bank Asia, one of the most innovative banks in the country, started its operation in 1999.
It offers a wide range of financial services that covers the entire spectrum of banking operations.
In addition, it has launched SME banking, SMS banking, ATM booths and internet banking under its on-line platform to deliver the highest standard of service to its clientele.
