Bank Asia launches Western Union Money Transfer services

Bank Asia has launched Western Union Money Transfer services through Jagoroni Chakra Foundation (JCF), an NGO, in the country's south and southwest region.
Deputy Commissioner of Jessore Napur Ahmed formally lunched the service at a function at Jessore Thursday, said a press release.
JCF earlier signed a sub-representation agreement with Bank Asia Limited, a Western Union principal agent, recently to offer the service in Bangladesh.
The service will be available at 100 locations of JCF covering more than 20 districts of the country.
Among others, Senior Executive Vice President of Bank Asia Irteza Reza Chowdhury, First Vice President Zia Arifin and First Assistant Vice President Md Akmal Hossain and Chairman of Executive Committee of the JCF Jhon S Biswas were present at the launching ceremony.
