Bank Asia Limited opened its 33rd branch at Bahadderhat in Chittagong Sunday, said a press release.
Director of the bank Shafiq Uddin formally inaugurated the new branch.
Also present at the inaugural ceremony were Bank Asia President and Managing Director Syed Anisul Huq and a large number of guests including members of the administration, business community and local elite.
The new branch will strive to support the booming economy of the port city. It is the bank's ninth branch in the port city.
Starting its operation in 1999, Bank Asia has become one of the most innovative banks in the country.
The new branch offers a wide range of financial services that covers the entire spectrum of banking operations.
