Bank Asia opened its 44th branch at Kamal Bazar in Chittagong Thursday, said a press release.
A Rouf Chowdhury, director of the bank, formally inaugurated the new branch.
Jahir Uddin, managing director of Mostafa Group, Erfanuddin Ahmed, president and managing director, SM Khorshed Alam, deputy managing director, and Mohammed Roshangir, senior executive vice president and zonal head of the bank, were present on the occasion.
Members of the business community, and local elite also attended the inaugural ceremony.
The Kamal Bazar branch of the bank has all the modern banking facilities, including ATM (automated teller machine).
Starting its operation in 1999, Bank Asia is one of the most innovative banks in the country's banking sector.
