Bank Asia opens computer centre at Lohagora

Bank Asia inaugurated its 3rd Computer Learning Centre (CLC) at Lohagora recently.
Deputy Managing Director of the bank Erfanuddin Ahmed inaugurated the CLC at South Satkania Golam Bari High School, Lohagora as the chief guest.
Zonal Head of Bank Asia Khorshed Alam, branch managers Chittagong zone and D Net Adviser Mahmudul Alam were also present on the occasion.
Bank Asia donated new clone computers and provided financial support for establishing the CLCs at Tarail, Malkhanagar and Lohagora to be managed by D Net-Development Research Network.
The chief guest, in his inaugural speech, said Bank Asia is a well-established bank with solid footings and is always active in the social activities. As part of its social commitment, the bank has donated computers and provided financial support to D Net for establishing the CLCs.
The Lohagora computer centre will impart computer literacy to the rural pupils and will contribute towards reducing IT literacy gap between the urban and rural students like other two existing CLCs at Tarail and Malkhanagar, he added.
