Bank Asia signs deal with Nathan Associate London

Bank Asia Limited and Nathan Associate London Limited, an authorised agent of Department for International Development (DFID), have signed a grant contract to support the financial inclusion with capacity building of smallholders and the emergence of thriving communities in which farmers flourish with additional income, recycling it and capturing value added within the immediate and extended community under a project "Growing Together", according to a statement.
Md. Arfan Ali, President and Managing Director of Bank Asia and Buddhika Samarasinghe, Director of Business Engagement at Nathan Associate London Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a city hotel on Tuesday.
Faisal Hussain, Team Leader, Business Finance for the Poor in Bangladesh, and Sarder Akhter Hamed, Senior Executive Vice President of Bank Asia, among others, were also present.
