Bank Asia starts off-shore banking unit at Ctg EPZ

Bank Asia Limited has been granted an off-shore banking unit license to operate at Chittagong Export Processing Zone, said a press release.
Bank Asia Limited SEVP Irteza Reza Chowdhury handed over a copy of the off-shore banking unit license to Chittagong Export Processing Zone General Manager Ataul Huq. Senior officials of the bank were also present on the occasion.
Companies under category A and B in the EPZ can now obtain banking facilities from the bank. The bank will offer competitive rates and assist category A and B companies with its worldwide correspondent banking arrangements.
