Bank client robbed of Tk 0.4m at Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Dec 01: A gang of muggers looted cash worth Tk 0.4 million from a bank client by stabbing him at Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Joypurhat branch at Sadar Road Tuesday noon.
Witnesses said at about 1pm Abdul Alim, an insurance officer, came to the bank to deposit Tk 0.4 million. At that time a gang of robbers attacked him with knives. Leaving him critically injured they looted the money from him.
Injured Abdul Alim said, he went to the bank to deposit the money but some muggers following him there attacked him and looted the cash.
