Bank, Non-Bank Institutions Fair begins tomorrow

Country's first Bank and Non-banking Financial Institutions Fair begins in Dhaka Sheraton Hotel tomorrow (Thursday).
The three-day fair, to be attended by more than 30 companies including banks, insurance and Financial Institutions (FIs) will showcase their products.
Briefing media men at a press conference Tuesday, general manager of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel Trevor Robert MacDonald said commerce adviser Hossain Zillur Rahman will inaugurate the fair as chief guest while the Bangladesh Bank Governor Salehuddin Ahmed will be present as special guest.
"It is a rare opportunity to get all banks and non-bank financial institutions under a single roof and consumers will have a direct interaction with products and services offered by the companies during the fair," Trevor Robert MacDonald said.
The fair will remain open from 10 am to 8 pm daily.
Syed A Muakhir, director of catering, Rezwan Maruf, assistant director of sales, and Shahidus Sadeque, sales manager, of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel, among others, were present at the press conference.
