Bank official among five held for doping people

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested five suspected members of a dope (agyan) party including a bank official in Motijheel area in the city Wednesday morning, reports BSS.
They also seized 1,800 pieces of contraband Ativan tablets used for making people unconscious from the possession of the bank official.
Detectives arrested the five from Culvert area under Motijheel Police station around 11am as they have long been involved in looting people after making them unconscious mixing Ativan tablets with foods at different bus stations, railway stations and launch terminals, a DB official said.
The ringleader of the gang, Abdul Matin alias Agyan Matin, who was arrested along with four others, collected medicines used in making people unconscious from different border areas and distributed those to his gang members, he also said.
