Bank officials held for supplying fake currencies

GOPALGANJ, May 2: A team of RAB-8, Gopalganj recovered 45 fake notes of Tk 500 and arrested two persons from Krishi Bank in Muksudpur of Gopalganj district Thursday. The arrestees are Amiruzzaman, Manager and Azizul Haque, cashier, Krishi Bank, Banogram Branch of Muksudpur Upazila in Gopalganj district. It is learnt that, during salary payment of National Service Program (NSP) employees of Muksudpur. The Bank authority supplied those fake notes. On information, a team of RAB-8 rushed to the Krishi Bank, Banogram Branch of Muksudpur in Gopalganj and arrested the manager and cashier of the Bank.
