Bankers' Assoc bids farewell to Salehuddin, welcomes Atiur

Association of Bankers Bangladesh Limited (ABB) organised a programme to bid farewell to the immediate past Governor Saleh Uddin Ahmed and welcome the new Governor Atiur Rahman of Bangladesh Bank at a city hotel recently, says a press release.
The meeting was presided over by the Chairman K Mahmood Sattar and conducted by Secretary General Niaz Habib of the Association.
Deputy Governor and Executive Directors Nazrul Huda, Ziaul Hassan Siddiqui and Murshid Kuli Khan of Bangladesh bank were present on the occasion.
Managing Directors of all the banks and members of the association were also present.
After the address of welcome by the chairman of the association, Saleh Uddin Ahmed and Atiur Rahman delivered their speech.
Later, secretary general of the association delivered the vote of thanks.
