Banker\\\'s house looted in Savar

SAVAR, Jul 4 (UNB): Robbers looted valuables, including cash and gold ornaments, worth Tk1.5 million from a house of a manager of Rupali Bank in Savar municipality Bank Colony here early Friday.
Police said a gang of robbers, numbering 10-12, stormed the house of Nure-Alam, manager of Dhankura branch of Rupali bank in Manikganj, by breaking open the window in the early hours of Friday and kept the house inmates hostage at gunpoint.
Later, the robbers looted valuables, including Tk 0.2 million cash and 15 tolas of gold ornaments worth Tk 1.5 million, and left the place with the booty.
