Banks' donations for flood victims

Agrani Bank: Agrani Bank donated Tk 5.0 million (50 lakh) to The Chief Adviser's (CA) flood relief fund for the flood-affected people of the country.
Chairman, members of the management board, managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO), advisers of Price Waterhouse Coopers, a consulting firm for the bank, and all officers and employees of the bank jointly contributed the amount from their salary spontaneously to the CA's flood relief fund.
Agrani Bank Chairman Siddiqur Rahman Chowdhury, and MD and CEO of the bank Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed handed over the pay-order of the amount to Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed at the latter's office in the city Monday.
Other high officials of the bank were also present on the occasion.
Dutch-Bangla Bank: Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) donated Tk 10 million (1.0 crore) to the CA's Relief and Welfare Fund for the flood victims of the country.
DBBL Chairman Abul Hasnat Md Rashidul Islam handed over a payment order for the amount to Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed at his office in the city Monday.
DBBL Director Zaheed Hossain Khan was also present on the occasion.
UCBL: United Commercial Bank Limited (UCBL) donated an amount of Tk 2.5 million (25 lakh) to the CA's Relief and Welfare Fund for the flood-hit people of the country.
UCBL Managing Director Hamidul Huq, and Executive Vice-president and Company Secretary MM Rafiqur Rahman handed over the cheque of the amount at CA's office in the city Sunday on behalf of the board of directors of the bank.
