Banks to remain open Saturday

All major branches of the government and private banks at divisional and district headquarters will remain open Saturday to facilitate payment of income tax. The Bangladesh Bank (BB) has issued a circular in this regard responding to the request of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), said a BB press release Thursday. Bank branches in Kapasia will remain closed Sunday because of the by-election at Gazipur-4 on the day.
