Bank's total deposit now Tk 239.37b

Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) Monday opened its own ATM booth at its Motijheel office in the city as part of opening 100 ATM booths across the country.
"IBBL now offers services through 34 shared ATM booths across the country along with 6 other banks and the modern service will be enhanced by establishing 100 own ATM booths," said Prof Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, chairman of Board of Directors of the bank while addressing the inaugural ceremony.
He said IBBL clients will be able to take ATM service through booths of other institutions and the bank is going to be connected to the international VISA network soon.
He said, "Our 194 branches out of 211 have been brought under online network and this will be upgraded to cent per cent within January 2010."
"Through its online branches internet banking and SMS banking services are also provided," he said.
He said, "The total deposit of the bank has reached Tk 239.37 billion (23,937 crore) as on 30 November 2009 and the growth rate is 21 per cent against the same period of the last year".
