Bar Council holds training course

A training course on "Enforcement and Amendment of Tobacco Control Law in Bangladesh" organised by Bangladesh Bar Council in collaboration with Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, USA, funded by the Bloomberg Global Initiative ended in the city Saturday, according to a press release. State Minister for Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Advocate Kamrul Islam was present as the chief guest at the workshop. Lawyers from Dhaka and Chittagong Bar associations participated in the training course, which was conducted by CTFK Legal Adviser Aaron Schwid, Barrister Cynthia Farid, CTFK Advocacy Coordinator Taifur Rahman, Advocate Syed Mahbubul Alam and Dr Sohel Reza Chowdhury from National Heart Foundation.
