BARI holds seminar

Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI)'s Training and Communication wing and its Bio-technology division jointly organised a seminar at BARI Seminar Room on Sunday, says a press release.
Director General of BARI Dr. Abul Kalam Azad was present as the chief guest at the seminar, titled Sourcing vegetable diversity for breeding from genebanks and from the lab: Germplasm screening and genomic design.
Head of Molecular Genetics of World Vegetable Center (WVC) Dr. Roland Schafleitner attended the seminar and made a presentation on CRISPR/Cas9- a genome editing technology for creating a noble variety of crops.
