Baridhara Dazzlers register victory

Baridhara Dazzlers registered a five-wicket win over Eskaton Sabuj Sangha in a match of the Metropolis First Division Cricket League at the Dhaka University ground in the city Monday, reports UNB.

Batting first after winning the toss, Eskaton SS were all out for 132 in 44.2 overs with Saddam scoring 32 runs. Tanmoy captured three wickets for 27 runs.

In reply, Baridhara Dazzlers cantered to their target making 138 in 28.1 overs for the loss of five wickets with Kamrul contributing unbeaten 52 runs. Rezaul took two wickets for 25 runs.

In the day's other matches, Indira Road KC (231/8) beat Badda Ekota SKS (191/9) by 40 runs at the Jagannath University ground, Lalmatia Club (177/9) defeated Rupali Bank (138/10) by 39 runs at the City Club ground and Brothers Union (273/9) outplayed Dhanmondi Club (250/10) by 23 runs at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
