Barisal Div take lead

Barisal Division scored 288 runs for all in 94.4 overs to take a 78-run first innings lead over Khulna Division on the 2nd day of the 2nd round four-day match of the Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 10th National Cricket League at Narayanganj Osmani Stadium Sunday, UNB reports.
Barisal Division resuming with overnight 278 for 8 folded their innings today playing 4.5 overs adding only 10 runs to the total.
Lower order Shaheen Hossain, was resumed batting with 51 runs, added just one run to his score before bowled by Rabiul making 52 off 119 balls with six fours.
Another night watch batsman Talha Jubair (16) remained unbeaten on 21 off 37 balls that included a boundary.
Rabiul Islam was the most successful among the Khulna bowlers claiming five wickets for 86 runs in 23 overs with four maidens while Nazmus Sadat, Ziaur Rahman, Dollar Mahmud and Murad Khan took one wicket apiece.
In reply, Khulna Division were all out for 210 runs in 79.3 overs in their first innings with wicket keeper Sahagir Hossain Pavel contributing team highest 40 runs that featured five fours.
Besides, Nazmus Sadat (26), Imrul Kayes (10), Rabiul Islam (18), Tushar Imran (32), Mustafizur Rahman (10), Raihan Anas (not out 20) and Dollar Mahmud (32) were the other notable Khulna batsmen who reached double figures. Another 22 runs came from extras.
Pacer Talha Jubair claimed four wickets for 43 runs, new ball bowler Sajedul Islam grabbed three wickets for 51 runs and Tariqul Islam took two wickets for 59 runs.
Opening the 2nd innings in the late afternoon, Barisal Division were two for no loss in one over.
