Barsial Town Secondary School clinched the title of the Citycell National School Football Championship beating Moulvibazar Victoria High School by 3-1 goals in the final at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Ahad Ali Sarker was the chief guest in the day's final event and distributed prizes among the winners. Citycell CEO Michael Seymour was present as the special guest.
In the day's final, Ali, who was later adjudged man of the final, struck twice for the winners in the 66th and 76th minutes respectively while Jumman netted the other goal for the winners in the 82nd minute.
Khaled netted the lone goal for the losers in the 17th minute.
