Barrister M A Muid Khan has become one of the top 7 best Legal Executive Lawyers of England & Wales. On 22nd September 2011, the Law Society published the shortlist of the high-achieving lawyers of England and Wales for their prestigious "Excellence Award 2011". Under the category "Legal Executive of the Year", Mr Khan ranked third among the top seven Legal Executive Lawyers for demonstrating his outstanding skills to innovate and to deliver work of the highest quality despite the challenging economic climate. The published short list is easily accessible from the Law Society's web page, says a press release. Law Society's Excellence Awards recognise and reward the most outstanding and dynamic practitioners in the legal professions. Awards will also be presented to the individuals judged to have made the greatest personal contributions and positive impact on the perception of the profession, in the categories of Legal Executive of the Year. Winning a Law Society Excellence Award is considered as a huge achievement which brings great recognition for individuals and firms, said a press release. BBC Broadcaster Mishal Husain will present the awards at a prestigious celebration dinner on October 18th at Old Billingsgate, London. Law Society President Linda Lee said, "Those who have made the shortlist should be extremely proud of their achievement...as the awards recognise the innovation, quality and tenacity that is characteristic of the legal profession..." In April 2011, Barrister M A Muid Khan has made the British-Bangladeshi community proud by winning the Law Society's prestigious award "Advocacy in the face of Adversity 2011" from among all the Black & Asian Barristers, Solicitors, Fellows of ILEX and other lawyers of the United Kingdom and Wales. "British-Bangladeshi Who's Who 2011" has recognised Mr Khan outstanding achievement as "one of the most successful and recognised figures in the British Bangladeshi community". Barrister Muid Khan is the second son of late Prof. ANM Abdul Mannan Khan, Ex-chairman and Senior Professor of the Department of Arabic, University of Dhaka. In November 2005, Mr Khan was called to the English Bar as a Barrister-at-Law by the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn Mr Khan is also a Qualified Executive Lawyer of the prestigious Institutes of Legal Executives (ILEX), Level - 3, Qualified Immigration Advisor of Organisation of Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) and an Advocate to the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Mr Khan is working as an Appeal Consultant & Practice Manager of Rest Harrow & Co Solicitors. Mr Khan is also a Principal & Supervisor of EU Migration Services.
