BASF president due in city today

President of Market and Business Development Asia Pacific, BASF, Dr Wolfgang Hapke arrives in Dhaka today (Tuesday) on a two-day official visit to Bangladesh, reports UNB.
Managing Director of BASF Bangladesh Limited Saria Sadique said Monday: "Hapke's visit gives us the opportunity to present him the future investment potential of the company and also understand his vision and perspective so that we can move towards right direction."
This would be the first visit of Dr Hapke's, based in Hong Kong, to Bangladesh.
BASF Bangladesh Limited, a subsidiary of German chemical conglomerate BASF SE, has been in Bangladesh since pre-liberation days, said a press release.
