Bashundhara Group, ICMAB sign MoU

Bashundhara Group and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on technical and strategic cooperation in various fields.
In this connection, Managing Director of Bashundhara Group Sayem Sobhan Anvir and President of ICMAB Mohammed Salim signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations in the city on Monday, said a statement.
Under the MoU, Bashundhara Group and ICMAB will work as development partners of each other and extend technical and strategic cooperation in the development of the country's economy.
ICMAB agreed to provide financial training and advisory supports on fixation of pricing, Tax and VAT, product costing, cost audit and other professional services to the group while Bashundhara Group will provide internship programme for the senior students of ICMAB and improvement of infrastructural facilities.
After signing the MoU, managing director of Bashundhara Group handed over a cheque for Tk 2.5 million to ICMAB president as development assistance.
Vice-President ASM Shaykhul Islam, Secretary Jamal Ahmed Chowdhury and former president Md Ruhul Amin of ICMAB were present on the occasion, among others.
