Bashundhara to produce PCC soon

Bashundhara Group Co-Chairman Sadat Sobhan and Managing Director of the Specialty Minerals Inc. of USA Dr Hwang Chii Guang signed an agreement on behalf of their respective companies in the city Sunday. Under the agreement Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited will work together to produce precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), an essential ingredient for whiter and better quality paper, where carbon dioxide (CO2) will be used as the basic raw material.
