ACADEMIC education should be of greatest priority in an individual's life without which all other achievements seem inferior and of less value. Thus, one's educational background--firstly-- should be strong enough so that one proceeds into other fields keeping his fundamental firm and secure.
There are certain students at high schools and colleges who are more passionate towards sports and athletics other than obtaining at least moderate grades. It is the utmost responsibility of high schools and colleges to take every step in establishing a strong educational background for their students.
It is a general saying that humans are slave to habits. And we must always try to take our habits towards positive directions. Students should always try to keep this fact into account that educational achievements are the vital stars on their accomplishment list. After all, academic courses build our ability of patience, understanding and sustenance in expertising at any field we ain for. Moreover, after a person stands first at a competition, won't it sort of stupefy people to know about his or her academics failures!
People can be made to do things by putting them on terms and conditions. And educational institutes can make use of this policy effectively and fruitfully in triggering students into earning better grades. Students who got real knack for sports would eventually be determined enough to score good in the class in order to enter into competitions. And this would be like reaching the bull's eye through paving the golden path.
Education is the backbone of a nation. And so we should try to ensure it before going for our other goals.
