BASIC Bank Limited organised a workshop on UCP-600 at its training centre in the city recently.
Managing Director of the bank AH Ekbal Hossain and Deputy Managing Director Md Mossadiqur Rahman were present as the chief gust and the special guest respectively.
Ekbal said proper implementation of newly formed rules and regulations of Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credit or UCP-600 will bring transparency and dynamism in the import export business of the country.
He advised the divisional and branch in-charges of the bank to follow the UCP-600 meticulously while of opening L/C and doing other international trading.
All the divisional in-charges of the head office and branch in-charges of the branches participated the workshop.
