BASIC BANK LAUNCHES REMITTANCE SOFTWARE

State-owned BASIC Bank Limited has launched its own remittance software 'REMIT365' in order to encourage sending of remittance through banking channels and make the remittance collection easy and fast. Badre Munir Firdaus, Joint Secretary, Financial Institutions Division (FID), inaugurated the software at a ceremony on Monday at the bank's head office in Dhaka. Minakshi Barman, Joint Secretary of FID, was present as a special guest while Md Anisur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, presided over the event.
