Basic computer training continues in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Sept 18 (BSS): A 70-day long basic training on computer education has been progressing fast at the Ansar and VDP training centre of the town here since July amid much enthusiasm of the trainers.
The Ansar and VDP office has arranged the training to create skilled manpower having computer literacy so that they could utilise the knowledge acquired from the training in their working lives properly to be self-reliant.
Rezaul Karim James and Firoz Ahmed Angur and other experts of the district town are conducting the training sessions as the resource persons while Shaghata upazila Ansar and VDP officer M Shamsul Alam Mondal is performing his responsibility as the training officer.
A total of 30 educated youths aged between 18 and 30 coming from far flung areas of the district are taking part in the training.
District commandant of Ansar and VDP M Mahbubur Rahman formally inaugurated the training on July 24 as the chief guest while Sadar upazila Ansar and VDP officer M Shahidul Haque presided over it.
