There is no alternative of training to enhance professional skill, efficiency and knowledge.
Mercantile Bank Limited (MBL) Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dewan Mujibur Rahman said this as the chief guest at the concluding session of an 18-day basic training course for MBL assistant officers in the city recently.
Chaired by MBL Training Institute Principal Rabiul Hussain, the function was attended, among others, by Senior Vice-president and faculty member of the institute Niranjan Chandra Gope.
The Mercantile Bank MD told the officers to uphold the image of the institutions, and said officers should maintain transparency and accountability at all levels of their profession.
He lauded the positive roles of the training institute for imparting need-based training and also for successful implementation of training plan with new zeal, enthusiasm and commitment.
