BASIS declares Denmark partner country in SoftExpo '08

Bangladesh Association of Information Services (BASIS) held a meeting in a bid to cooperate with the ITB, the IT industry association of Denmark, for participating in the BASIS SoftExpo-2008 to be held in Dhaka in February 14-18.
BASIS Director and Convener of SoftExpo 2008 in Copenhagen TIM Nurul conducted the meeting with ITB President Jane Eis Larsen, CEO Jakob Lyngsoe and Vice President Henrik Egede.
It was agreed by both the associations that Denmark would be declared partner country of the event and ITB would be a partner association of the exhibition.
At the Softexpo-2008, ITB Vice President Henrik Egede will be a keynote speaker. A delegation of software and IT companies from Denmark is expected to participate in the fair for finding the possible outsourcing partner in Bangladesh.
Danish Federation of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (DFSME) is actively working with the ITB for promoting BASIS SoftExpo and is also organising the Danish delegations to visit Bangladesh during the exposition.
