BAT AGM held

The 38th Annual General Meeting of British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited was held in the city Sunday, said a press release. Mr. Golam Mainuddin, Chairman, British American Tobacco Bangladesh chaired. A large number of shareholders attended the meeting and unanimously passed the Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2010, Directors' Report and the Auditor's Report. The shareholders also approved the proposed dividend of Tk 43 per share. In 2010, the company contributed Tk 46.27 billion as value added tax, supplementary duty and other taxes to the national exchequer.
