Bata launches new designed shoes for Eid

Bata Shoe Company Bangladesh Limited launched its some new designed shoes for the Eid-ul-Fitr at a city hotel Wednesday.
At the launching ceremony Marketing Manager of the Bata Shoe Company Bangladesh Limited M A Quader said some 400 new designs will be available in the Bata shops for the customers in the coming Eid-ul-Fitr.
"We have started our product promotional activities many days ahead of the Eid festival mainly to make the shoes available to the people belonging to all strata of the society. Its our company's observation that many customers cannot buy Bata shoes as the stock of shoes gets finished during Eid sales. However, this year people can buy the shoes of Bata Brand from the very beginning of the Ramadan," Quader said.
He said this year the Bata Shoe Company had highlighted the products of children, as they, compared to the adults, wanted to have new shoes during the Eid festival.
He said Bata shoe had some competitors in Bangladeshi markets in different segments, but not as a whole as the shoe market in the country was comparatively scattered.
Advertising and Promotion Manager of Bata Ekramuzzaman said Bata Shoe Company had started its journey in Bangladesh in 1962 and it had two factories one at Dhamrai and another at Tongi, on the outskirt of the city.
Managing Director of the Company J D Hearns, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Cesar Panduro and Logistic and Manufacturing Manager Kym Bradley among others were present at the launching ceremony.
