BAU admission website launched

Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh on Sunday launched its on-line admission website, says a press release.
BAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. A. Sattar Mandal inaugurated the website (www.bau.edu.bd/admission) at the ceremony at the Department of Computer Science & Mathematics under the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology.
Addressing the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. A. Sattar Mandal said the university have introduced online system for collecting admission forms from this year in order to ease the procedure of admission and reduce harassment of admission seekers.
He sought cooperation from the media in presenting the online admission process in an easy manner to the student.
Applying for undergraduate studies at the BAU a student needs to carry out a number of steps. At first, a student has to pay application fees through Post Office Electronic Money Order (EMO) service available in 966 branches and collect a 16-digit PIN through his supplied mobile number. Then using this PIN he can upload his scanned photo and create a provisional admit card to attend in the admission test.
The admission test will be held December 04, 2010 Saturday.
