BAU student killed in clash in M’singh

MYMENSINGH, Apr 1 (BSS): A student of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) was killed in a clash between two rival groups at BAU campus this morning.
The victim was identified as Saad Ibne Momtaz, 21, a student of Fisheries Faculty of BAU and organising secretary of Ashraful Haque Hall BCL unit.
Police said following previous enmity over the formation of class representative, students of the rival group attacked Momtaz with rod and sticks on Monday night, leaving him injured critically.
Momtaz was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries this noon.
