Bazlul Hoque appointed Chairman of Agrani Bank

Dr. Khondoker Bazlul Hoque has recently been appointed Chairman of Agrani Bank Limited.
Mr. Hoque is Professor and Chairman of the Department of International Business of Dhaka University. He is also the President of Dhaka University Teachers' Association and Bangladesh University Teachers' Association Federation, said a press release.
Mr. Hoque obtained his Post Graduation degree in Management from Dhaka University in 1967 and PhD in Economics from MINE, USSR in 1982.
He is elected Post Doctoral Fellow of IDE, Japan in 1993 and Senior Fulbright Fellow of Indiana University, USA in 1994. He also held positions of Member of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (1997-2002), Dean, Faculty of Commerce, DU, Chairman, Department of Commerce, DU.
He is related with teaching profession for the last 40 years in Dhaka University.
Mr Hoque joined the 130th Board meeting of the bank Wednesday at the bank's Head Office.
