BB announces monetary policy

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has announced the monetary policy (MPS) for the first half of the current (2014-2015) financial year on Saturday (July 26). The central bank earlier set July 27 for announcing the MPS, but rescheduled the date because of Holy Eid-ul-Fitr vacation, beginning from July 29. BB Governor Dr Atiur Rahman unveiled the MPS in the morning at a press conference at the central bank headquarters in Motijheel, according to a news agency.
