BB, BRAC BANK SIGN SME ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT DEAL

BRAC Bank signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Bank to train SME entrepreneurs as part of the Entrepreneurship Development Program under Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICP) of the Ministry of Finance. Under the initiative, 28 banks and financial institutions, including BRAC Bank, will impart training to 3,000 up-and-coming entrepreneurs across the country. Khasru Parvez, executive director of the Bangladesh Bank, and Syed Abdul Momen, additional managing director & head of SME banking, BRAC Bank, exchanged the agreement on May 5.
