BB forms info providing unit

The Bangladesh Bank (BB) has introduced the Central Information Providing Unit at its Human Resources Department (HRD) for convenience of all concerned in getting necessary information from the bank. The central unit comprising three high officials of the HRD has been constituted under Rule 10 of the Right to Information Ordinance, 2008. Members of the unit include joint director Mohammad Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, deputy director AKM Rezaul Karim, and assistant director Mita Debnath. The central unit, under Rules 5 and 6 of the ordinance, will collect, preserve, provide and publish all necessary information about the bank. — BSS
