BB Governor to attend Basel-II meet in Switzerland

Bangladesh Bank (BB) governor Atiur Rahman will attend the meeting of Basel-II scheduled to be held in Switzerland on June 26-28.
He will also visit the Untied Kingdom from June 29 to June 30 on his way back home.
During the visit, the BB governor will meet Bangladeshi community leaders in the UK and representatives of the exchange houses and discuss on ways to increase the flow of remittances from that country.
"The BB governor will call upon Bangladeshi community leaders and expatriate Bangladeshis to send home their hard-earned money," a BB senior official told the FE Saturday.
