BB Governor's mother dies

Hazera Khatun, mother of Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Atiur Rahman, died of old age complications on Sunday. She was 85, reports UNB.
She left behind five sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
She fell sick at her village home at Purbopar, Digholi of Jamalpur district and breathed her last on way to Dhaka at 8pm.
She was buried at her family graveyard.
The Qulkhwani for the deceased will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque in the city Friday (November 26).
