BB holds workshop for economic reporters

The central bank held a workshop Thursday for economic reporters on banking issues for the first time aiming to improve reporting efficiencies about the sector.
Bangladesh Bank (BB) Deputy Governor Murshid Kuli Khan inaugurated the workshop Thursday morning at Bangladesh Bank Training Academy (BBTA) in the city where around 50 reporters from different print and electronic media took part in the daylong workshop.
Economic Adviser of the central bank, Habibullah Bahar, Executive Directors of the BB ATM Nasiruddin, Yasin Ali, Economist of the Micro-credit Regulatory Authority KM Jamshed uz Zaman and General Manager of the Banking Regulations and Policy Department (BRPD) Jahangir Alam delivered lectures on different banking as well as economic issues.
