BB increases funding for plastic goods exporters

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has increased the funding limit for plastic goods producers and exporters from the Export Development Fund (EDF). The central bank in a circular on Tuesday said all the member organisations of Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) will get up to $1 million from the EDF, based on their local delivery and exports. The earlier limit was $500,000, according to a news agency.
