BB, Islami Bank arrange training for SME entrepreneurs

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC Rajshahi Zone launched a month-long Entrepreneurship Development Program for the country's SME entrepreneurs on Monday. The event is organized under the Skills for ''Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program" project of the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and conducted under the supervision of the SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank. Nurun Nahar, Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor, attended the event as the chief guest. Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of Islami Bank, presided over the programme while Shamsul Arefeen, Executive Director (Current Charge) of Bangladesh Bank, Rajshahi Office, Nawshad Mustafa, Director of the SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank and Abu Sayed Md. Idris, Senior Executive Vice President of Islami Bank, were present as special guests.
