BB raises transit expenses to $500 for students

The Bangladesh Bank (BB) has enhanced transit expenses released by the authorised dealer banks to $500 from $200 for Bangladeshi students studying abroad. In this connection, the central bank on Monday issued a circular to all authorised dealers of foreign exchange in Bangladesh saying that it has been decided to enhance such transit expenses to $500 from $200, according to a news agency.
