BB to announce MPS tomorrow

Bangladesh Bank (BB) is set to announce the monetary policy statement (MPS) for the first half of the current (2014-2015) financial year on Saturday (July 26), a BB release said on Thursday. The central bank earlier set July 27 for announcing the MPS, but rescheduled the date because of Holy Eid-ul-Fitr vacation, beginning from July 29. BB Governor Dr Atiur Rahman will unveil the MPS around 11:00am at a press conference at the central bank headquarters in Motijheel, according to BSS.
